A "Desert" is a not able to produce crops area of the solid surface of the earth (land) where a short time precipitation occurs and consequently which having life"s (living things) conditions are hostile for plant and animal life. The lack with plants in general are all uncovered (also) unprotected out side parts of the ground to the manufactured of denudation. In the opposite, in about one third of the outer part of the ground (surface of the world) is completely dryed off or semi-fry. This are mostly considered along much with polar regions where very little of rain and snow (precipitation) occurs and which are occasionally called "cold deserts". Deserts can be classified by the amount of precipitation (rain or snow fall) that falls, by the amout of degree of colodness or hotness (temperature) that usally overcome, by the causes of desertification or by their geographical position or location.
